Job Description:
A company is looking for an Associate Group Underwriter to
evaluate and underwrite group insurance applications.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate risk for group insurance products and analyze relevant
data
Contribute to division profitability through client profitability
analysis
Document and communicate underwriting decisions to relevant
parties
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
0-2 years of underwriting experience
Proficiency in PC applications, including word processing and
spreadsheets
Ability to analyze financial conditions and past claim
experiences
Authority to approve cases up to 1,000 lives
