Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Accountant with a strong ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. This role requires excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with team members and contribute to departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with internal policies, including journal entries, account reconciliations, budgeting, cash management, and workers' compensation audits.


Develop and present financial reports, long-term cash flow projections, and P&L analyses.


Monitor insurance renewals and claims for both institutional and individual clients.


Deliver weekly client communications, including cash reports and status updates.


Assist in reviewing and summarizing client agreements.


Manage the creation, review, and approval of budgets, shareholder payroll, and 1099 filings.


Support onboarding of new clients and execution of related procedures.


Collaborate with management on estate planning, asset purchases, and investment tracking.


Oversee cash management activities, including monitoring credit card activity, fraud alerts, and credit issues.


Review and ensure accuracy of Staff Accountants' work (AP/AR, cash receipts, payroll, etc.).


Supervise the preparation of commission calculations and payments.


Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned.


Support payroll processing and review associated journal entries.


Maintain logs for all filings and reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.


Build and maintain professional relationships with clients' trusted advisors to resolve open issues.


Assist with preparation of annual financial statements for tax purposes.



Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Music Business with a strong academic record.


Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or the entertainment industry, or 5+ years of bookkeeping experience supporting high-net-worth individuals.


Prior experience working in the manufacturing industry.


Proficient with NetSuite ERP (3+ years of experience required).


Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.


Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to reliably commute to and work from the West Hollywood office.
