We have an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift - Maintenance Mechanic at our Pico Rivera, Ca location.

This is a Full-Time/ Direct-Hire opportunity.

This position is with an industry leading food manufacturing company that specializes in quality bakery ingredients, products, supplies, and services.

Shift Details:
2nd Shift: 3PM - 11:30PM
Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and shift changes when needed

Pay Rate: $36.00 - $46.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Qualifications:
Must have 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing plant as a Maintenance Mechanic.
Strong troubleshooting skills, especially with machinery such as steamers, line equipment, and conveyors.
PLC troubleshooting skills preferred.
Ability to train and work on various shifts.
Electrician Certification desired

Here's what you'll be doing:
Perform preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment.
Troubleshoot various areas in the plant, including Frozen Department, Dry Mix Department, Tower, Basement, Compressor Room, and Boiler Room through regular inspection and test procedures.
Perform basic repairs within office facility on furniture, lighting, paging system, etc.
Install and maintain electrical equipment/controls, circuits, and PLC.
Troubleshoot, identify worn parts, and rebuild machine assemblies, pumps, meters, valves, valve actuators, and other equipment.
Participate in facility maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
Handle and use various chemicals safely with strict adherence to hazardous communication and MSDS requirements.
